There are times when a decal livery is by far the
best option to take. The design may dictate this
if, for example highly complex, or photographic
prints are required. A painted scheme would not
be able to achieve the desired effect. A vinyl livery
can be applied in a fraction of the time it would
take to paint, its clean and cost effect too.

The blanking out of existing liveries is another service Larchfield is often asked to provide. This is usually requested when one operator leases an aircraft from another and the existing logos need to be covered for a period of time. Our applicators can apply blanking vinyl to turn a blue tail white, or to cover a name on the fuselage and therefore provide a blank canvas for the new scheme to be applied. This is especially useful when applying a temporary registration to an aircraft.
